Meet our representative at the airport and proceed to your hotel. After check-in, you have the rest of the day at your leisure. Anchorage is a modern city with a wild heart. Here, you can dine at Michelin starred restaurants and enjoy the theatre, the museums and the eclectic music scene or spend the afternoon fishing for salmon, exploring hiking trails and photographing majestic glaciers. (Overnight at the hotel in Anchorage.)

Anchorage - Talkeetna

Check-out of your hotel in the morning and head to the Anchorage Railway Station to board the Alaska Rail Road to Talkeetna. Sit back and enjoy stunning views of Mt. Denali. Framed by large picture windows, they look like pieces of art hanging on a gallery wall. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and freshen up. In the afternoon, head out with your binoculars for the Talkeetna Wilderness Jet Boat Safari and chance upon nesting bald eagles, busy beavers, moose with perfect palmate antlers and grizzly bears in their natural habitat. (Overnight at the hotel in Talkeetna.)

Talkeetna – Denali

This morning, after check-out you proceed to the Talkeetna Railway Station and board the Alaska Rail Road to Denali. Again, the views of Mt.Kinley are outstanding. Be sure to keep an eye out for more wildlife. Today, just before you arrive at Denali Park you’ll pass though Broad Pass, the highest point on the Alaska Railroad at a dizzying 2,363 feet. Yes, don’t look down. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. This evening, you’re in for a stunning, once in a lifetime experience. Take off on a glacier flightseeing or glacier landing tour. As you stand at the base of Denali, in the shimmering, breathtaking world of ice and snow, you’ll feel like sending out a ‘thank you’ to the universe. (Overnight in at the hotel in Denali.)

Today, start the day early for the Denali Tundra Tour. Everything about the Denali National Park is larger than life: the scenery, the mountains, the incredible beauty and the animals. Take the Tundra Wilderness Tour and scout for moose, bears, wolves, caribou and the magnificently-horned Dall sheep. The fully narrated 53-mile Tundra Wilderness Tour into Denali National Park is led by a certified naturalist driver. Gather history, geography and a dozen stories to take back home from Alaska. (Overnight at the hotel in Denali.)

Denali - Fairbanks

This morning after check-out you head to the Denali Railway Station to board the Alaska Rail Road to Fairbanks. As soon as you leave Denali you’ll enter the spectacular Nenana River Canyon, popular for its whitewater rafting. Before reaching Fairbanks, the train crosses the Tanana River on one of the world's longest single-span bridges. Sit back and enjoy the view. On arrival, transfer to hotel. (Overnight in Fairbanks Hotel.)

This morning, you’ll take a trip through Alaska's gold mining history on the Gold Dredge Tour. Ride the Tanana Valley Railroad for your adventure in the gold fields. A short train with live commentary takes you to Gold Dredge where you’ll see first-hand how the dredge worked the gold fields. After a short gold mining course, grab your own 'poke' filled with pay dirt and try your hand at panning for gold! If you strike rich, you get to take home your Alaskan gold! Check out of your hotel in the afternoon and head to the Fairbanks airport to take a connecting flight home. Though your Alaskan adventure has come to an end, the smell of the fresh Alpine air will stay with you for a long time to come.
